Zebra Trade-In Program: Easy Rebates for New Products

Are you looking to upgrade your business’s hardware, but want to do more with your old products than throwing them away? Do you want to get money back on old products that you can put towards new purchases?

If you answered yes, we have good news: Barcode Factory is a certified PartnerConnect reseller with GO Zebra’s Trade-In Program. Upon the purchase of new products, you can fill out a trade-in form, send in your old products, and receive rebate towards your new purchase. This allows you to dispose of old products without throwing them in the trash, while also saving you money.

Eligible Devices

The GO Zebra Trade-In Program isn’t limited to Zebra products. Eligible items will be accepted regardless of manufacturer. There are, however, certain conditions that must be met:

  • Printers: In order to be eligible for trade-in, thermal barcode printers must have a printhead (in good or poor condition) and power up when turned on.

  • Barcode scanners: To be eligible for trade-in, barcode scanners must be either a laser scanner, a linear imager, or an area manager.

  • Mobile computers and tablets: Eligible mobile devices must have a screen at least two inches in diagonal.

Trade-In Process

Once you know that your product or products are eligible, you can begin the trade-in process:

  1. First, you must purchase your new product. Your reseller will provide you with an invoice that lists eligible trade-in products.

  2. Next, submit a trade-in application and a copy of your invoice. The invoice must be dated between January 1st and December 31st 2022, and must include the customer name, purchase date, invoice number, the product serial number, the total claimed purchase quantity and the name of the PartnerConnect reseller. The trade-in application is available here, while the invoice can either be attached to the application or faxed directly to Zebra at (847) 890-6408.

  3. After your documents are approved, you’ll receive a Trade-In Merchandise Authorization (TMA) email. This email will contain a unique number that can be used to obtain rebate status. At this stage, if there are any questions about your claim, you’ll be contacted by the Zebra Trade-In Program administrator.

  4. Once you’ve received the TMA, ship your products to the address provided in the email. Zebra will ask for information on the size and weight of your package in order to cover the cost of shipping. Once they’ve received and processed your return, they’ll send you a rebate check. Returns are only accepted if they are received within ninety days of the date on the invoice.

Before You Ship

Before you ship your products, be sure to check the following:

  • Register in advance: You must register your claim and receive your TMA email before shipping your products. Claims will not be accepted otherwise.

  • Wipe your devices: Zebra does not wipe sensitive information from your devices upon receiving them. To ensure your information isn’t compromised, be sure to wipe your device before sending it.

  • Schedule your shipping: Zebra pays for shipping, but does not schedule FedEx or LTL freight shipping. Scheduling product shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Products will only be accepted if they are received within ninety days of the invoice date.

  • Pack appropriately: Make sure that your products are properly packaged before shipping.
