Zebra ChemResist is a premium resin ribbon designed for environments requiring high durability to solvents and chemicals. This ribbon must be used in conjunction with Zebra Z-Xtreme label materials. This ribbon will hold up to applications that require high scratch durability and resistance to chemicals.


An alternative to Zebra Image Lock 8000T Resin Ribbon

Since early 2022, raw material issues have temporarily increased lead times for Zebra’s popular Image Lock resin ribbon. Zebra has created an alternative to these thermal ribbons with the new Chem Resist 8000 Resin Ribbon. Applications requiring specific resistance to certain chemicals now have a custom alternative. This ribbon is designed to work with Zebra Z-xtreme label material, and comes in 110mm wide x 74 meters and 300 meter lengths. There is a one case minimum for this custom manufactured product. What Labels Should I Use With Zebra Chem Resist Ribbons?

Synthetic Labels such as polyesters that require high durability are idea for the new Chem Resist ribbons. These labels would include the Zebra Z-xtreme series which are thermal transfer, white, matte or gloss polypropylene labels with a permanent high-tack adhesive. The temperature rating is as low as -40° F and can be applied at temperatures as low as 50. They can withstand applications requiring up to 2 years outdoors. UL/cUL indoor/outdoor recognition and CSA indoor/outdoor recognition when paired with compatible Zebra ribbons. Contact for samples, data sheets or more info.
